An ideal candidate will have an interest in assisting dentists in providing dental care and who is committed to continuing education and developing skills in order to improve their practice.
Our Dental Assistants are responsible for performing varying dental procedures and assisting dentists during examinations, so we require someone who is confident, patient, detail-oriented and has a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentist in taking x-rays.
Talk with patients to put them at ease prior to procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures.
Explain postoperative instructions to patients.
Clean instruments and equipment; document instrument cleaning; sterilize instruments and equipment.
Gather patient information and enter into the computer.
Prepare treatment area for the dentist.
