Information System Engineer 3 (Hybrid)
Information System Engineer IIIBravoTECH, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a fulltime Information System Engineer III for a premier client near Sherman, Texas.
The ideal candidate will be open to working onsite 3 days a week and remote 2 days.
Technical skills include - VMWare, Cisco UCS, Cisco Hyperflex, Servers, Windows, Linux, Backup Storage.
System Engineer will administer and maintain compute and storage systems and recommends improvements necessary to ensure operation of organization's systems.
Job Responsibilities Lead the design of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) Lead the design of enterprise compute environments, including virtualization hardware, physical servers, and hosted systems.
Develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication.
Assure systems performance, stability, and security.
Lead projects and will work across departments.
Develop or help develop IT policy.
Design, administer, and improve server OS, including Windows Server 2016 and above, and Redhat Linux Maintain Windows Active Directory environments.
Maintain enterprise wide VMware environments Apply company procedures to resolve issues promptly.
Other tasks as assigned Job Requirements Ability to perform complex tasks 5
years of experience designing and managing system infrastructure based on best practices Expert knowledge of Microsoft and VMWare system technologies (operating system and virtualization) Microsoft MCSA, VMWare VCP, or greater certification or equivalent experience Must be comfortable working in an accountable environment and maintaining flexible working hours 8:
