Customer Care Agent

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assistance relating to all aspects of banking which includes account inquiries, Online banking, Visa debit cards, and ATM cards.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Handles incoming calls & emails dealing with a broad range of Customer Service Inquiries.
2. Assists customers with Online banking and Bill Pay.
3. Assists customers with Visa debit card and ATM card maintenance.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES
Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.Any other duties assigned by supervisor.Dresses Professionally.

Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.Prior banking experience preferred.
Technical/Functional Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Multi-line phone system.Excellent verbal/written skills.Excellent phone etiquette.Must be dependable and a team player.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
